Disposal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure
- DISPOSE OF BRAKE BOOSTER WITH ACCUMULATOR PUMP ASSEMBLY
- Secure the brake booster with accumulator pump assembly in a vise as shown in the illustration.
- Using a drill, slowly drill a hole approximately 12 mm (0.472 in.) deep indicated by the area (A) in the illustration to discharge the gas inside.
*a 30 mm (1.18 in.) 
Area (A) WARNING:Make sure to wear safety glasses as brake fluid and shards of metal may be ejected due to the release of pressurized gas.
NOTE:- Make sure to sufficiently secure the pump or accumulator of the brake booster with accumulator pump assembly before performing this procedure.
- Make sure to drill the hole slowly so that pressurized gas will not be released rapidly.
HINT:
- Nitrogen gas, which is colorless, odorless and harmless, will be discharged.
- The recommended drill bit diameter is 6 mm (0.236 in.) or less.
