Removal [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BATTERY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  3. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 5 clamps from the battery clamp sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts, nut and battery clamp sub-assembly.
  4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 SURGE TANK STAY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  6. SEPARATE INLET HEATER WATER HOSE B 
    1. Disengage the clamp to separate the inlet heater water hose B.

  7. SEPARATE VACUUM HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the clamp to separate the vacuum hose sub-assembly.

  8. SEPARATE BREATHER PLUG HOSE 
    1. Disengage the clamp to separate the bleeder plug hose.

  9. SEPARATE ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and separate the engine wire.

    2. Remove the bolt and separate the earth wire.

  10. DISCONNECT AIR TUBE 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the air tube from the vacuum pump assembly.

  11. REMOVE VACUUM PUMP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and vacuum pump assembly from the engine assembly.

    2. Remove the No. 2 O-ring and No. 3 O-ring from the vacuum pump assembly.
