Inspection [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Main Switch Assembly)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      5 (INV) - 2 (E) Main switch assembly off 10 kΩ or higher
      Main switch assembly on Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the main switch assembly.

    2. Illumination Inspection
      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the main switch assembly and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK

        SWITCH ILLUMINATION

        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition
        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 6 (ILL+)
        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (ILL-)        		 Always Switch illumination illuminates

        OK

        SWITCH INDICATOR

        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition
        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (IG)
        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (IND)        		 Always Switch indicator illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the main switch assembly.
