Installation [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

- INSTALL FUEL VAPOR CONTAINMENT VALVE (CLOSE TANK WITH BOLT VALVE ASSEMBLY)
- Install the fuel vapor containment valve (close tank with bolt valve assembly) to the vehicle body and tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
- Push the fuel tank evaporation vent tube sub-assembly onto the fuel vapor containment valve (close tank with bolt valve assembly) and push in the retainer to engage the lock claws.NOTE:
- Check that there are no scratches or foreign matter around the connecting parts of the fuel tank evaporation vent tube sub-assembly and fuel vapor containment valve (close tank with bolt valve assembly) before performing this work.
- After connecting the fuel tank evaporation vent tube sub-assembly, check that the fuel tank evaporation vent tube sub-assembly is securely connected by pulling on the fuel tank evaporation vent tube sub-assembly.

Push in - Push the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly onto the fuel vapor containment valve (close tank with bolt valve assembly) and push in the retainer to engage the lock claws.NOTE:
- Check that there are no scratches or foreign matter around the connecting parts of the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly and fuel vapor containment valve (close tank with bolt valve assembly) before performing this work.
- After connecting the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly, check that the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly is securely connected by pulling on the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly.
*a Retainer Push in - Connect the fuel vapor containment valve (close tank with bolt valve assembly) connector.
- Install the fuel vapor containment valve (close tank with bolt valve assembly) to the vehicle body and tighten the 2 bolts.
