Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [11/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

      *1 No. 1 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and oil cooler assembly from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 oil cooler gaskets from the oil cooler assembly.

    4. w/ Filter:
      1. Remove the oil control valve filter from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
