Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for 60/40 Split Seat Type) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for 60/40 Split Seat Type) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Captain Seat Type) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

  4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Captain Seat Type) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

  5. SEPARATE FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Turn back the front floor carpet assembly to the point that the HV battery is visible.
  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SILENCER 
    1. Remove the 2 clips and rear floor silencer.

  7. REMOVE BLOWER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 
    1. Disengage the 3 clamps.

    2. Disconnect the battery cooling blower assembly connector.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the blower sub-assembly from the HV battery.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 HV BATTERY INTAKE DUCT LH

      Remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the No. 1 HV battery intake duct LH from the battery cooling blower assembly.
  9. REMOVE BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 
    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts and battery cooling blower assembly from the No. 2 battery cooling bracket.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure not to touch the fan part of the battery cooling blower assembly.
      • Do not lift the battery cooling blower assembly using the wire harness.
  10. REMOVE BLOWER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 
    1. Disconnect the battery cooling blower assembly connector.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the blower sub-assembly from the HV battery.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT

      Remove the 2 clips and No. 1 hybrid battery intake duct from the battery cooling blower assembly.

  12. REMOVE BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 
    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts and battery cooling blower assembly from the No. 1 battery cooling bracket.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure not to touch the fan part of the battery cooling blower assembly.
      • Do not lift the battery cooling blower assembly using the wire harness.
