  1. CHECK REAR EVAPORATOR TEMP. SENSOR (NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY) CIRCUIT 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the M15 rear evaporator temp. sensor (No. 2 air conditioning harness assembly) connector.

      Procedure1

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M15-8 (+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 0 to 5.5 V

  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Clear DTCs

  3. CHECK FOR DTC 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Turn the ignition switch off.
    2. Disconnect the M15 rear evaporator temp. sensor (No. 2 air conditioning harness assembly) connector.

      (to Rear Evaporator Temp. Sensor (No. 2 Air Conditioning Harness Assembly))
    3. Connect terminals 7 and 8 of the rear evaporator temp. sensor (No. 2 air conditioning harness assembly) connector on the wire harness side.

      *1 Rear Evaporator Temp. Sensor (No. 2 Air Conditioning Harness Assembly)
      *2 Air Conditioning Amplifier Assembly
    4. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 4 seconds or more.

      Procedure1

    5. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - REAR EVAPORATOR TEMP. SENSOR (NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY)) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the M15 rear evaporator temp. sensor (No. 2 air conditioning harness assembly) connector.
    2. Disconnect the H65 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M15-8 (+) - H65-11 (TEC) Always Below 1 Ω
      M15-7 (-) - H65-15 (SG-9) Always Below 1 Ω

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - REAR EVAPORATOR TEMP. SENSOR (NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS ASSEMBLY)) 

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the M15 rear evaporator temp. sensor (No. 2 air conditioning harness assembly) connector.
    2. Disconnect the H65 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M15-8 (+) or H65-11 (TEC) - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
