DTC B1471-1C: A/C Inverter High Voltage Power Resource Circuit Voltage Out of Range [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM) 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

  2. INSPECT HV AIR CONDITIONING WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the m1 compressor with motor assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the compressor with motor assembly.

    2. Remove the HV air conditioning wire from the inverter with converter assembly.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that no foreign matter, water, etc., enters the inverter with converter assembly.

      HINT: 

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      m1-2 (PB) - m2-1 (ACPB) Always Below 1 Ω

  3. INSPECT HV AIR CONDITIONING WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    Pre-procedure1

    1. Disconnect the m1 compressor with motor assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the compressor with motor assembly.

    2. Remove the HV air conditioning wire from the inverter with converter assembly.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that no foreign matter, water, etc., enters the inverter with converter assembly.

      HINT: 

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      m1-1 (PE) - m2-2 (ACPE) Always Below 1 Ω

    REPLACE COMPRESSOR WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

    REPLACE HV AIR CONDITIONING WIRE. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ] 

  4. INSPECT HV AIR CONDITIONING WIRE 
    WARNING:
