DTC Check / Clear [12/2019 - 11/2023]

  1. CHECK FOR DTCS 
    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the GTS on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.

      Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes 

    5. Check the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data, and then write them down.
    6. Check the details of the DTCs.

      HINT: 

      GTS Display Description
      Test Failed Shows the malfunction judgment results during the current trip.
      Confirmed Shows the DTCs confirmed up to now. (The number of current trips differs for each DTC.)

      Freeze Frame Data is stored for both Test Failed DTCs and Confirmed DTCs.

  2. CHECK Freeze Frame Data 
    1. If a DTC is stored, select it in order to display its Freeze Frame Data.
    2. Read the Freeze Frame Data recorded when the DTC was stored.
  3. CLEAR DTCS 
    NOTE:

    Clearing the DTCs will also clear the Freeze Frame Data.

    For AWD: Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    For 2WD: Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the GTS on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
    5. Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.

      Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Clear DTCs
