DTC C1425-71: Stop Light Relay Actuator Stuck [12/2019 - ]: Description

for HV Model 

  1. The No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) sends a stop light operation request signal to the stop light relay (stop light switch assembly). If the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) detects a malfunction in the stop light relay (stop light switch assembly) circuit, the forward recognition camera stores this DTC.

for Gasoline Model 

  1. The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) sends a stop light operation request signal to the stop light relay (stop light switch assembly). If the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) detects a malfunction in the stop light relay (stop light switch assembly) circuit, the forward recognition camera stores this DTC.

  1. 3 seconds or more after the ignition switch is turned to ON, the forward recognition camera receives a stop light relay circuit malfunction signal from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for approximately 1 second or more.
