Inspection [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the length of the steering main shaft.

      Standard length (A)

      423.7 to 483.7 mm (1.39 to 1.58 ft.)

      HINT: 

      If the length of the steering main shaft is not as specified, replace the steering column assembly with a new one.

    2. Check that the 2 bushings are securely installed to the steering column assembly.

      HINT: 

      If the bushings are deformed, missing or damaged, replace the steering column assembly with a new one.
