- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - GENERATOR ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the C54 ECM connector.
- Disconnect the C57 generator assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition C54-135 (LIN) - C57-2 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω C54-135 (LIN) or C57-2 (LIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
Proceed to OK NG

REPLACE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]
