Precaution [11/2023 - ]

  1. PRECAUTION FOR POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. Do not remove or install the power distribution box assembly with the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal connected.
      NOTE:
      • After turning the ignition switch to off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

      • When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal while performing repairs, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

      • When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery.

        HINT: 

        When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.

    2. Make sure that the power distribution box assembly are not exposed to water, as they are not waterproof.
    3. Some loads are connected to circuits with dedicated overcurrent protection. Therefore, do not use parts other than those specified for the vehicle.
    4. When replacing the power distribution box assembly, the system may not operate normally if the same part number is not used.
    5. Check that systems are operating normally before proceeding with troubleshooting.
