DTC C1582: Assist Map Number Mismatch [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      for Gasoline Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023]

      for HV Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  2. CHECK RELATED PART 
    1. Check if the part below has been replaced with an incorrect part in the past.
      Related Part ECM
      Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
      Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)
      NOTE:

      When removing the related part to check it, be sure to follow the appropriate procedures and precautions.

    2. When DTC C1582 is output and parts have not been exchanged, replace the power steering ECU (rack and pinion power steering gear assembly) as it may have an internal malfunction.
      NOTE:

      If the rack and pinion power steering gear assembly has been replaced, perform assist map writing.

      Refer to CALIBRATION [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    REPLACE RACK AND PINION POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023] 

  5. CHECK RELATED PART 
    1. Check if the part below has been replaced with an incorrect part in the past.
      Related Part Hybrid vehicle control ECU
      Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
      No. 2 skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)
      NOTE:

      When removing the related part to check it, be sure to follow the appropriate procedures and precautions.

    2. When DTC C1582 is output and parts have not been exchanged, replace the power steering ECU (rack and pinion power steering gear assembly) as it may have an internal malfunction.
      NOTE:

      If the rack and pinion power steering gear assembly has been replaced, perform assist map writing.

      Refer to CALIBRATION [12/2019 - 11/2023]
