DTC P2797-96: Electromagnetic Oil Pump Component Internal Failure [10/2022 - ]: Description

P2797-96 Electromagnetic Oil Pump Component Internal Failure One of the following conditions are met for 1.8 seconds or more (2 trip detection logic):
  • Oil pump with solenoid assembly operating (Tr1: On, Tr2: On).
  • Either of the following conditions is met:
    • EGND terminal voltage 10 V or higher.
    • EGND terminal voltage below 1 V.
  • Wire harness or connector
  • Transmission wire
  • Oil pump with solenoid assembly
  • Engine stop and start solenoid filter
  • Engine stop and start ECU
