    Power Door Lock Control System
    Power Back Door System
  2. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (for Gasoline Model)
    NOTE:

When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.

    System Name See Procedure
Stop and Start System Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2022 - 11/2023]
    Lane Control System
    Parking Support Brake System
    Pre-collision System
    Lighting System (EXT) (w/ AFS)
    Power Door Lock Control System
    Power Back Door System
  3. PRECAUTION FOR WHEN USING WIRELESS CHARGER
    1. When charging a rechargeable device while driving, for safety reasons, the driver should not operate the rechargeable device.
    2. Do not charge any small and lightweight portable devices such as cordless headphones, etc. while driving. Very lightweight devices may suddenly fly off the charging tray which may lead to an unforeseen accident.
    3. People with implantable cardiac pacemakers, cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators, or any other electrical medical device, should consult their physician about usage of the wireless charging system. Operation of the wireless charging system may have an affect on medical devices.
    4. If the following precautions are not observed, a fire, equipment failure or damage, or burns due to overheating may occur:
      • Do not put any metallic objects between the charging area and the rechargeable device while charging.
      • Do not attach metallic objects, such as aluminum stickers, to the charging area, the rechargeable device or its case.
      • Do not cover the rechargeable device with a cloth or other object while charging.
      • Do not attempt to charge any device that is not a specified rechargeable device.
      • Do not disassemble, modify or remove the mobile wireless charger cradle assembly.
      • Do not subject the mobile wireless charger cradle assembly to excessive force or impact.
      • When the protrusion of a rechargeable device such as a camera lens, protrudes 3 mm (0.1181 in.) or more from the charging surface.
      • When the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is brought outside the vehicle.
    5. In the following situations, the wireless charging system may not operate correctly:
      • When the rechargeable device is fully charged.
      • When a small object or cushion material with a thickness of 2 mm (0.079 in.) or more is in between the charging area and the rechargeable device.
      • When a case with a thickness of 2 mm (0.079 in.) or more or non-Qi-compatible cover or accessory is attached to the rechargeable device.
      • When the main body of the rechargeable device becomes hot while charging, or the main body of the rechargeable device becomes excessively hot due to constant operation of an application.
      • When the temperature around the charging tray is 35 °C (95 °F) or more due to insolation, etc.
      • When a rechargeable device is placed on the charging area with its charging surface facing up.
      • When a small device or the charging coil of a folding type mobile phone terminal is placed outside of the charging area.

        Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION [10/2022 - 11/2023]

      • When in an area with strong radio waves, noise, etc.
      • When the rechargeable device is in contact with, or is covered by a metallic object.
      • When an RF remote controller is being used nearby.
      • When the protrusion of a rechargeable device such as a camera lens, protrudes 3 mm (0.1181 in.) or more from the charging surface.
      • When the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is brought outside the vehicle.
    6. Do not bring magnetic cards, such as electronic toll collection cards or contactless IC cards, or magnetic recording media close to the charging area while charging. Otherwise, data may be erased. Additionally, do not bring precision instruments, such as wrist watches, close to the mobile wireless charger cradle assembly, as such objects may malfunction.
    7. Gasoline models:

To prevent the battery from discharging, do not use the wireless charging system for a long period of time with the engine stopped.

      HV models:

To prevent the auxiliary battery from discharging, do not use the wireless charging system for a long period of time with the ignition switch in a state other than ON (READY).
