Tire Pressure Warning Light Circuit [10/2022 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM) 
    1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

      for HV Model: Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 11/2023]

      for Gasoline Model: Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 11/2023]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 

    for HV Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023]

    for Gasoline Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (B1247) 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Clear DTCs 

    2. Turn the ignition switch off.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    4. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      B1247 is not output A
      B1247 is output B

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC (B1247). Refer to  DTC B1247: Tire Pressure Monitor Receiver Communication Stop [12/2019 - 11/2023]

  3. CHECK VEHICLE SPECIFICATION 
    1. Check the vehicle specification.

  4. CHECK OPERATION OF TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT (ACTIVE TEST) 
    1. Check the condition of the tire pressure warning light using the GTS.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test

      The tire pressure warning light turns on or off in accordance with the GTS operation.

    REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - ] 

  5. CHECK OPERATION OF TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT (ACTIVE TEST) 
    1. Perform the Active Test of the combination meter assembly using the GTS.

      Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [10/2022 - 11/2023]

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test 

      Tester Display
      Multi Display All (White)
    2. Check the combination meter assembly.

      OK

      The multi-information display in the combination meter assembly turns on according to the operation of the Active Test.

      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023]
