Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly Communication Stop Mode [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the R1 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly)

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R1-9 (CANH) - R1-10 (CANL)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY) 

Result: 

OK

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R1-2 (E) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	Below 1 Ω

   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly)

2. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R1-1 (IG) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V
   R1-6 (B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
