Remote Service Malfunction [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the GTS on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Bus Check.

      For HV Model: Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2023 - ]

      For Gasoline Model: Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2023 - ]

    5. Check that all ECUs and sensors that use CAN communication are connected.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      There are no connection problems. A
      There is a connection problem. B

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 

    For HV Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

    For Gasoline Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT 
    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the GTS on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Health Check.
    5. Check for DTCs.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output. A
      DTCs are output. B

    Result: 

    INSPECT EACH ECU SYSTEM

  3. CHECK OPERATION OF EACH SYSTEM 
    1. Check that each system related to Remote Connect operates normally.
      1. Check power door lock control system

        Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

      2. Check smart key system (for Entry Function)

        Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

      3. Check smart key system (for Start Function)

        For HV Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2021 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

        For Gasoline Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2021 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

      4. Check theft deterrent system

        Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

      5. Check meter/gauge system

        Except 12.3 Inch Display: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - ]

        For 12.3 Inch Display: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - ]

      6. Check lighting system (EXT)

        w/o AFS: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

        w/ AFS: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

      7. Check air conditioning system

        For HV Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2021 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

        For Gasoline Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      All of the systems related to Remote Connect operate normally. A
      Any system related to Remote Connect does not operate normally. B
