DTC P0657-9E: Actuator Supply Voltage "A" Stuck On [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Powertrain > Engine > Clear DTCs 

    2. Turn the ignition switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result: 

    NEXT 

    See step  2

  2. READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P0657-9E) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.
    2. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    4. Wait 10 seconds or more.
    5. Turn the ignition switch off.
    6. Wait 15 seconds or more.
    7. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    8. Wait 5 seconds or more.
    9. Read the DTCs.

      Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTC P0657-9E is output B

    Result: 

    CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS [12/2019 - 10/2022] 

    Result: 

    REPLACE ECM. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 09/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2020 - 10/2022]
