Removal [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ NUMBER OF STARTER OPERATIONS 

    Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL TO COWL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE ENGINE STOP & START SOLENOID FILTER 

    See step  2

  5. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX LH 
    1. Disconnect each connector.
    2. Disconnect the 3 engine stop and start ECU connectors.

    3. Remove the nut, 2 bolts and ECU integration box LH.

  6. REMOVE ENGINE STOP AND START ECU 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the engine stop and start ECU from the ECU integration box LH.
      NOTE:
      • If the ECU integration box LH is deformed or damaged, replace it.
      • Do not bend the 2 claws more than necessary.
