DTC B1522: Lost Communication with DCU Video Line Signal [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > D-SEAT SW > Clear DTCs 

2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > D-SEAT SW > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - ]

1. Disconnect the d6 integration control sub-assembly connector.

   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Integration Control Sub-assembly)
   *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to Radio Receiver Assembly)

2. Disconnect the b1 radio receiver assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   d6-1 (GV+) - b1-2 (GV+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   d6-2 (GV-) - b1-1 (GV-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   d6-3 (GVG) - b1-3 (GVG)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   d6-1 (GV+) or b1-2 (GV+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   d6-2 (GV-) or b1-1 (GV-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   d6-3 (GVG) or b1-3 (GVG) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Replace the integration control sub-assembly with a new one.
2. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > D-SEAT SW > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > D-SEAT SW > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

END (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY IS DEFECTIVE)
