  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY LH - RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY, DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)) 
    1. Disconnect the R25 telephone microphone assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the H108 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
    3. Disconnect the H11 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R25-5 (SNS1) - H108-25 (SNS) Always Below 1 Ω
      R25-4 (MO1-) - H11-7 (MCI-) Always Below 1 Ω
      R25-5 (SNS1) or H108-25 (SNS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      R25-4 (MO1-) or H11-7 (MCI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      NG

    Result:

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  3. INSPECT DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) (MCI-) 
    1. With the DCM (telematics transceiver) connectors connected, disconnect the R25 telephone microphone assembly LH connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R25-4 (MO1-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK

    REPLACE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY LH) 
    1. Disconnect the H108 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the R25 telephone microphone assembly LH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R25-5 (SNS1) - H108-25 (SNS) Always Below 1 Ω
      R25-4 (MO1-) - H108-22 (MIN-) Always Below 1 Ω
      R25-5 (SNS1) or H108-25 (SNS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      R25-4 (MO1-) or H108-22 (MIN-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  5. INSPECT RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (MIN-) 
    1. With the radio and display receiver assembly connectors connected, disconnect the R25 telephone microphone assembly LH connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R25-4 (MO1-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

    REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

  6. INSPECT TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY LH (SNS1, MO1-) 
    1. Remove the telephone microphone assembly LH.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
