DTC C1ABE: Short to GND or Open in Buzzer [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

   Body Electrical > Blind Spot Monitor Slave > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - ]

1. Disconnect the M45 RCTA buzzer (blind spot monitor buzzer) connector.
2. Disconnect the M2 blind spot monitor sensor RH (slave) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M45-2 (BZN) - M2-3 (BUZ)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M45-2 (BZN) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Blind Spot Monitor Slave > Clear DTCs 

2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
