Inspection [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness protector.

      *1 Wire Harness Protector
    2. Disconnect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
    3. Start the engine.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Engine Oil Pressure Switch Assembly Body

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - Engine oil pressure switch assembly body Idling 10 kΩ or higher
      Engine stopped Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

    5. Connect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
    6. Engage the clamp to connect the wire harness protector.
