Check For Intermittent Problems [12/2019 - 11/2023]

  1. CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS 
    1. Perform a simulation test.
      1. For the simulation test, reproduce the driving conditions that were present when the problem occurred. These conditions should be based on the customer's comments and freeze frame data that is recorded with DTCs, such as the opening angle of the accelerator pedal, SOC (state of charge), engine coolant temperature, engine speed, and generator (MG1)/motor (MG2)/rear motor (MGR) rpm and torque.

    2. Check the connector(s) and terminal(s).

      Refer to ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE [12/2019 - ]

    3. Wiggle the wire harness and connector(s).

      Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - ]

    4. Heat or cool suspected parts.
