DTC P0E00-28: Generator Phase U Current Sensor Signal Bias Level Out of Range / Zero Adjustment Failure; DTC P0E04-28: Generator Phase V Current Sensor Signal Bias Level Out of Range / Zero Adjustment Failure; DTC P0E08-28: Generator Phase W Current Sensor Signal Bias Level Out of Range / Zero Adjustment Failure [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Description
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
The motor generator control ECU (MG ECU), which is built into the inverter with converter assembly, monitors the generator inverter current sensor. These DTCs indicate the malfunction of current sensors and do not indicate a malfunction of the high-voltage system.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area | MIL | Warning Indicate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| P0E00-28 | Generator Phase U Current Sensor Signal Bias Level Out of Range / Zero Adjustment Failure | Generator inverter current sensor U phase offset malfunction: The absolute value of the current sensor output exceeds the threshold when current should not flow, such as when the generator inverter is shutdown (1 trip detection logic) |
