DTC P0ABF-2A: Hybrid/EV Battery Current Sensor "A" Signal Stuck In Range [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL) 
    1. Check and record any HV system DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.

      Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      "Only DTC P0ABF-2A is output" or "DTC P0ABF-2A and DTCs other than those in the following table are output". A
      DTC P0ABF-2A and any of the DTCs in the following table are output at the same time. B

    2. Turn the ignition switch off.

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC CHART (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM). Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2019 - 09/2020]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [09/2020 - 10/2021]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2021 - 11/2023]

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      NOTE:

      Do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).

    2. Check the voltage of each HV battery block voltage of "Hybrid Battery Block 1 to 12 Voltage" in the Data List with the ignition switch ON.
      NOTE:

      Select "Hybrid Battery Block 1 to 12 Voltage" only. (Do not select any other Data List items.)

      Specified Condition

      Any "Hybrid Battery Block Voltage" changes by 0.3 V or more, 60 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to ON. (The difference between the maximum and minimum voltage is 0.3 V or more.)

      The change in voltage of any "Hybrid Battery Block Voltage" is 0.3 V or more. A
      Other than above B
    3. Turn the ignition switch off.

    Result: 

    REPLACE BATTERY VOLTAGE SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023] 

    Result: 

    REPLACE HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023]
