DTC B2410-87: Swivel Motor LH Missing Message; DTC B2411-87: Swivel Motor RH Missing Message [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Headlight Control > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result:

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Wait 10 seconds or more.
    3. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Headlight Control > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      DTC B2410-87 and B2411-87 are not output.

      Result

  3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    *a Component without harness connected
    (Headlight ECU Sub-assembly LH)    		 - -
    1. Remove the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A87-19 (LINS) - C-14 (LIN2) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

    NG 

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ] 

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH) 
    1. Disconnect the A87 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the A16 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A87-19 (LINS) - A16-19 (LINS) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  5. CHECK HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (LINS TERMINAL SIGNAL OUTPUT)

    1. Disconnect the headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.
    2. Using the GTS, check the waveform.

      OK

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH) 
    1. Disconnect the A87 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the A16 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A87-19 (LINS) or A16-19 (LINS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    3. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    4. Wait 10 seconds or more.
    5. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Headlight Control > Trouble Codes

      DTC B2411-87 is output A
      DTC B2410-87 and B2411-87 are output B

    Result:

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

  12. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

  13. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Remove the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH from headlight assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

    2. Reconnect the A87 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    3. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    4. Wait 10 seconds or more.
    5. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Headlight Control > Trouble Codes
