DTC B2439: Headlight LH Circuit; DTC B243A: Headlight RH Circuit [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs 

      Body Electrical > AFS (Sub) > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Operate the light control switch to turn on the low beam headlights and wait 10 seconds or more.
    3. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > AFS > Trouble Codes 

      Body Electrical > AFS (Sub) > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      DTC B2439 and B243A are not output.

      Result

  3. CHECK HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove each headlight ECU sub-assembly, interchange the headlight assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [12/2019 - ]

  4. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs 

      Body Electrical > AFS (Sub) > Clear DTCs

  5. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 09/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2020 - 11/2023] 

  6. CHECK HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove each headlight ECU sub-assembly, interchange the headlight assembly RH with LH and connect the connectors.

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [12/2019 - ]
