Does not Connect to Rear-Miracast [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOREIGN OBJECT 
    1. Check that there are no metallic objects placed in front of the front surface of the television display assembly.

      OK

      No foreign matter

      Result

    REMOVE FOREIGN OBJECT AND RECHECK

  2. CHECK DEVICE 
    1. Check whether the customer's device supports "Miracast" functionality.

      HINT: 

      For supported devices, Refer to Audio and Visual System*1 or Navigation System*2

      w/o Navigation System: Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION [12/2019 - 10/2022]

      w/ Navigation System for 8 Inch Display: Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION [12/2019 - 10/2022]

      w/ Navigation System for 12.3 Inch Display: Refer to SYSTEM DESCRIPTION [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  3. CHECK DEVICE SETTINGS 
    1. Check whether the "Miracast" functionality is set to "On" in the settings of the customer's device.

      HINT: 

      • "Miracast" is normally set to "Off" by default. As a result, the setting must be manually changed to "On".
      • The operation method differs depending on the device. The name "Miracast" also refers to "Screen Mirroring" and "Media Output", etc.

  4. CHECK TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY SETTING 
    1. Check that the "Wi-Fi power" setting is "On" in the "Wi-Fi" settings on the television display.
    2. Check that the "Access to network" setting is "Off" in the "Wi-Fi" settings on the television display.*
      1. *: w/ "Wi-Fi" (Station) Function
    3. Check that the "Bluetooth power" setting is "Off" on the multi-display.

  5. CHECK CONNECTION RESULT 
    1. Check connection:
      1. Check the connection between the device and "Miracast" on the television display in the vehicle and on the device itself.
      2. Allow Miracast video to be streamed to the television display and wait for 15 seconds.
      3. Check that the smart phone screen is displayed on the television display.

      HINT: 

      If the "Miracast" connection cannot be established even after checking, confirm the connection again.
