Integration Control and Panel Assembly Communication Stop Mode [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the H8 integration control sub-assembly connector.

      (to Integration Control Sub-assembly)
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H8-32 (CANP) - H8-31 (CANN) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY) 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND CIRCUIT) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H8-20 (GND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H8-1 (B) - Body ground Always 10.5 to 16 V
      H8-3 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 10.5 to 16 V
      H8-4 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10.5 to 16 V

    GO TO STOP AND START SYSTEM (FOR BACKUP BOOST CONVERTER CIRCUIT) 

    Refer to Backup Boost Converter Circuit [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H8-1 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      H8-3 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      H8-4 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
