4WD Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (4WD ECU ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

(to 4WD ECU Assembly) - Disconnect the M42 4WD ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Value M42-17 (CANH) - M42-26 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω Result

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (4WD ECU ASSEMBLY)

- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the M41 4WD ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
