Headup Display Communication Stop Mode [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the H31 meter mirror sub-assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H31-12 (MPX1) - H31-13 (MPX2) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY)

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H31-4 (ES) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω

    Refer to Backup Boost Converter Circuit [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to Backup Boost Converter Circuit [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
