Power Back Door ECU Communication Stop Mode [10/2022 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the W18 multiplex network door ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      W18-39 (CANP) - W18-40 (CANN) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU)

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the W19 multiplex network door ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      W19-10 (GND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      W18-18 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      W18-20 (ECUB) - Body ground Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V
      W19-1 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V

      NG

    OK 

    REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU
