Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE DECK TRIM POCKET COVER PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [11/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    If the center stop light assembly has been removed, replace the center stop light gasket and center stop light cover with a new one.

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and center stop light assembly.
  3. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT GASKET 
    1. Remove the center stop light gasket.

      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all traces of the old center stop light gasket from the vehicle body.
      • Do not reuse the removed center stop light gasket. Be sure to install a new center stop light gasket to prevent water ingress.
  4. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT COVER 
    1. Remove the 2 center stop light covers.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all traces of the old center stop light cover from the vehicle body.
      • Do not reuse the removed center stop light covers. Be sure to install new center stop light covers to prevent water ingress.
