DTC B0090-96: Left Frontal Restraints Sensor Component Internal Failure [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

1. Turn the ignition switch off.

   *1	Front Airbag Sensor RH
   *2	Airbag Sensor Assembly
   *3	Wire Harness

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
3. Interchange the front airbag sensor LH with RH and connect the connectors to them.
4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

   Procedure1

6. Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs 

   Result

   Proceed to

   Post-procedure1

7. Turn the ignition switch off.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

   Procedure1

2. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   B0090-96 is output	A
   B0095-96 is output	B
   B0090-96 and B0095-96 are not output	C

   HINT: 

   Codes other than DTCs B0090-96 and B0095-96 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

   Post-procedure1

3. Turn the ignition switch off.
4. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
5. Return the front airbag sensor RH and LH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.
