DTC B0095-83: Right Frontal Restraints Sensor Value of Signal Protection Calculation Incorrect [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

   Procedure1

2. Check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Trouble Codes

Pre-procedure1

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

   Procedure1

3. Check that the connectors are properly connected to the airbag sensor assembly and front airbag sensor RH.

   OK

   The connectors are properly connected.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

   Post-procedure1

4. None

Result: 

NG 

CONNECT CONNECTORS PROPERLY

Pre-procedure1

1. Interchange the front airbag sensor RH with LH and connect the connectors to them.

   *2	Airbag Sensor Assembly
   *3	Wire Harness

2. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

   Procedure1

4. Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs 

   Result

   Proceed to

   Post-procedure1

5. Turn the ignition switch off.

Result:

   HINT: 

   Codes other than DTCs B0090-83 and B0095-83 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

   Post-procedure1

3. Turn the ignition switch off.
4. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
5. Return the front airbag sensor LH and RH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.
