Removal [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT FLOOR WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    1. Disconnect the electric vehicle battery plug assembly connector.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps to disconnect the floor wire.
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  4. REMOVE NO. 6 HV BATTERY CARRIER BRACKET 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts and No. 6 HV battery carrier bracket.
  5. REMOVE BATTERY VOLTAGE SENSOR 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    1. Disconnect the 3 battery voltage sensor connectors.

      NOTE:

      Insulate each disconnected high-voltage connector with insulating tape. Wrap the connector from the wire harness side to the end of the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and battery voltage sensor from the HV battery.
      NOTE:

      If the battery voltage sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
