DTC P0070-11: Ambient Temperature Sensor Circuit Short to Ground [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Clear DTCs

Pre-procedure1

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the ambient temp. sensor (cooler thermistor) connector.

3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 4 seconds or more.

1. Disconnect the A23 ambient temp. sensor (cooler thermistor) connector.
2. Disconnect the H63 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

   Procedure1

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   A23-2 or H63-1 (TAM) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   A23-1 or H63-14 (SG-2) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
