DTC P153B-11: Rear Evaporator Temperature Sensor Circuit Short to Ground [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Clear DTCs

Pre-procedure1

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the rear evaporator temp. sensor (No. 2 air conditioning harness assembly) connector.

3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 4 seconds or more.

1. Disconnect the M15 rear evaporator temp. sensor (No. 2 air conditioning harness assembly) connector.
2. Disconnect the H65 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

   Procedure1

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   M15-8 (+) or H65-11 (TEC) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   M15-7 (-) or H65-15 (SG-9) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
