DTC B1422: Compressor Lock [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSPECTION [12/2019 - 10/2022]

    Result

    Proceed to

    NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022] 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the H63 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the C60 cooler compressor assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C60-1 (SSR+) - H63-12 (LOCK) Always Below 1 Ω
      C60-2 (SSR-) - H63-14 (SG-2) Always Below 1 Ω
      C60-1 (SSR+) or H63-12 (LOCK) - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      C60-2 (SSR-) or H63-14 (SG-2) - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
