Air Vent cannot be Switched [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. CHECK AIR OUTLET SERVO MOTOR 
    1. Confirm for which seat the air outlet mode cannot be changed.

      Result

      The air outlet mode for the driver seat cannot be changed A
      The air outlet mode for the front passenger seat cannot be changed B
      The air outlet mode for the rear seats cannot be changed C

  2. CHECK NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check that the No. 2 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

      OK

      The No. 2 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

      Result

      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REASSEMBLY [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  3. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes

      B1443 is not output A
      B1443 is output B

    Result: 

    REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022] 

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC B1443. Refer to  DTC B1443: Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit [12/2019 - 10/2022] 

  4. CHECK NO. 1 AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check that the No. 1 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

      OK

      The No. 1 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

    REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  6. CHECK REAR MODE DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check that the rear mode damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.

      OK

      The rear mode damper servo sub-assembly is installed correctly.
