1. Check and record DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.

   For DTC Check / Clear: Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2019 - ] 

   For Freeze Frame Data: Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [12/2019 - 11/2023] 

   Chassis > Brake/EPB > Trouble Codes 

2. Clear the DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.

   For DTC Check / Clear: Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2019 - ] 

   For Freeze Frame Data: Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [12/2019 - 11/2023] 

   Chassis > Brake/EPB > Clear DTCs 

3. Reconfirm the DTCs.
   1. Reconfirm the DTCs based on the recorded DTCs and Freeze Frame Data.

      For DTC Check / Clear: Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2019 - ] 

      For Freeze Frame Data: Refer to FREEZE FRAME DATA [12/2019 - 11/2023] 

      Chassis > Brake/EPB > Trouble Codes 

      HINT: 

      • When CAN communication system DTCs are output, repair the CAN communication system first.

        Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023]

      • If DTCs related to momentary interruptions are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first.

        Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [12/2019 - 11/2023]

      • If the GTS cannot communicate with the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), inspect the CAN communication system.

        Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023]

      • If there is no response from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), inspect the supply power circuit.

        Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [12/2019 - ] 

4. Check the Vehicle Control History.

   Refer to VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY [10/2022 - 11/2023]
