Brake Warning Light (Yellow) Remains On [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB / Utility / Vehicle Control History (RoB).
4. Using the GTS, check for Vehicle Control History.

   Refer to VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY [11/2023 - ]

   Chassis > Brake/EPB > Utility 

   Tester Display
   Vehicle Control History (RoB)

   HINT: 

   If vehicle control history is stored when the electric parking brake system is suspended, the brake warning light (yellow) illuminates.

2. Check the combination meter assembly.

   OK

   The brake warning light (yellow) turns on or off in accordance with GTS operation.

REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

INSPECT METER / GAUGE SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - ] 

1. Perform the Active Test of the combination meter assembly using the GTS.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [11/2023 - ]

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test 

   Tester Display
   Multi Display All (White)

2. Check the combination meter assembly.

   OK

   The multi-information display in the combination meter assembly turns on according to the operation of the Active Test.
