AWD Warning does not Come ON [11/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    1. Check that there is no looseness at the locking and connecting parts of the 4WD ECU assembly connector.

      OK

      No looseness at the locking and connecting parts

    2. Disconnect the M41 and M42 4WD ECU assembly connectors.
    3. Check the connector case and the terminal for deformation and corrosion.

      OK

      No deformation or corrosion

    4. Connect the M41 and M42 4WD ECU assembly connectors.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK AWD WARNING MESSAGE 
    1. According to the display on the GTS, perform the Active Test and check the Data List "4WD Warning Light" turns ON/OFF.

      Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Data List

      ON: Warning on
