DTC C05D8-1C: 4WD/AWD Clutch "A" Actuator Control Circuit Performance Circuit Voltage Out of Range [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the M41 4WD ECU assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M41-5 (SLF+) - M41-6 (SLF-)	20°C (68°F)	0.73 to 0.83 Ω
   M41-5 (SLF+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M41-6 (SLF-) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - ] 

Result: 

NG

1. Disconnect the M41 4WD ECU assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the s10 front 4WD linear solenoid (transfer assembly) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M41-5 (SLF+) - s10-2 (SLF+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M41-6 (SLF-) - s10-1 (SLF-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M41-5 (SLF+) or s10-2 (SLF+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   M41-6 (SLF-) or s10-1 (SLF-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   M41-5 (SLF+) or s10-2 (SLF+) - M41-6 (SLF-) or s10-1 (SLF-)	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   M41-5 (SLF+) - M41-16 (SLFS)	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   M41-6 (SLF-) - M41-16 (SLFS)	Always	10 kΩ or higher

4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M41-6 (SLF-) or s10-1 (SLF-) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE TRANSFER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]
