DTC C05E7-1C: 4WD/AWD Clutch "B" Actuator Control Circuit Performance Circuit Voltage Out of Range [12/2019 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (4WD ECU ASSEMBLY - REAR 4WD LINEAR SOLENOID (REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY))
- Disconnect the M42 4WD ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition M42-5 (SLR+) - M42-6 (SLR-) 20°C (68°F) 0.73 to 0.83 Ω M42-5 (SLR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition M42-6 (SLR-) - Body ground Always Below 1 V Result
Proceed to OK NG

OK
REPLACE 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (4WD ECU ASSEMBLY - REAR 4WD LINEAR SOLENOID (REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY))
- Disconnect the M42 4WD ECU assembly connector.
- Disconnect the s7 rear 4WD linear solenoid (rear differential carrier assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
