- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BSLC TERMINAL)
- Disconnect the M41 4WD ECU assembly connector.

(to 4WD ECU Assembly) - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition M41-2 (BSLC) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V Result

- Disconnect the M41 4WD ECU assembly connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (4WD ECU ASSEMBLY - ELECTRO MAGNETIC CONTROL COUPLING SUB-ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the M42 4WD ECU assembly connector.

(to 4WD ECU Assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition M42-4 (SLC+) - M42-3 (SLC-) 20°C (68°F) 2.2 to 2.6 Ω M42-4 (SLC+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher M42-3 (SLC-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result

- INSPECT ELECTRO MAGNETIC CONTROL COUPLING SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the s8 4WD linear solenoid (electro magnetic control coupling sub-assembly) connector.

(4WD Linear Solenoid [Electro Magnetic Control Coupling Sub-assembly]) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 (BSF) - 2 (SLC) 20°C (68°F) 2.2 to 2.6 Ω 1 (BSF) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher 2 (SLC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher Result
