DTC C13FB-00: 4WD/AWD Front/Rear Disconnect System Stuck ON [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Lift the vehicle.
    2. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Data List 

      Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      Rear Ring Gear Revolution Rear ring gear revolution Min.: 0.00 rpm
      Max.: 3199.95 rpm      		 - -

      Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Data List 

      Tester Display
      Rear Ring Gear Revolution
    3. While using both hands to simultaneously rotate both rear wheels in the forward direction, observe the value of the Data List item.

      OK

      The value of Data List item "Rear Ring Gear Revolution" is 0 rpm.

      Result

      Proceed to

      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK TRANSFER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Lift the vehicle.
    2. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Data List
